This is an entry level disposal service providing complete compliance with legal obligations. Redundant equipment such as PCs, printers and microwave ovens can be delivered to one of our regional recycling centres or one of our metal recycling division’s network of metal recycling centres. "Record and Recycle" is a standard service which provides a record of equipment collected for materials recovery and recycling.

We offer services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Component Equipment Manufacturers (CEMs) and electrical equipment distributors for component recovery and materials recovery, to help maximise the recycling value from returns that cannot be re-distributed, re-used or re-marketed.

• In conjunction with our Lifecycle Services IT asset recovery proposition, we offer a full range of options for end of life electrical equipment and returns including component recovery, refurbishment for redeployment or remarketing and recycling. Therefore you have an opportunity to maximise value from your end of life assets, as opposed to the single option of recycling.
• Hardware destruction. Sims Recycling Solutions ensures complete destruction of data or hardware, protecting your brand, customer and company data.
• Metal recycling. As we trade large amounts of metal worldwide, we can recoup value from your end of life electronics, minimising your processing charges for compliant waste disposal
• Legal compliance. We hold all permits and licences for the management of e-waste and help you to meet your obligations under UK and European e-waste law such as the WEEE Directive.
• High environmental standards. We hold ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification for each of our established UK sites, often exceeding the requirements of UK and EU legislation. We also guarantee that all e-waste recovered for recycling is handled within Europe, reducing carbon footprint and preventing recycling in countries that do not operate to Europe’s high standards of waste handling.
