The UK recycling centres operated by Sims Recycling Solutions recover all types of
e-waste categories listed under the European WEEE Directive, with the exception of lighting. Our highly mechanised facilities in South Wales and northern England can cost effectively process over 180,000 tonnes of electronic waste each year, to standards that often surpass legislative environmental targets.

Each of our established WEEE recycling centres operate to ISO 14001 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management standards. These accreditations provide reassurance to our customers that all e-waste received for recycling is processed within the European Union. We do not export electronic waste.

Our UK facilities are capable of recovering hazardous electronic waste using environmentally friendly processes. These include products containing ozone depleting substances, cadmium, lead and phosphors.
