We recycle IT equipment which is no longer fit for purpose. Our advanced electronics recycling plants have the capacity to process over 300,000 tonnes of e-waste each year.
Our e-waste recycling centres are all certified to ISO 14001 Environmental Management standards.
- Each of our e-waste recycling centres recovers hazardous substances found in electronic equipment such as cadmium or lead for environmentally friendly treatment and/or disposal.
- Our processes meet and often exceed standards for recovery and recycling of e-waste in line with legislation such as the WEEE Directive and Hazardous Waste Regulations.
Sims Recycling Solutions has invested in specialist highly mechanised facilities for cost effective and environmentally friendly disposal of:
- CRTs (Cathode Ray Tubes) from computer monitors, recovering leaded and unleaded glass cullet for recycling
- Computer printer and photocopier toner cartridges
