- De-installation - This is available including data centre decommissioning. Our experienced staff are well trained in recovering all types of IT equipment and transporting them safely and securely for processing at one of our strategically located regional processing centres. This regional logistics network enables us to deliver effective point to point, same day logistics. Should you need a broader site clearance service, our metals recycling division offers a full industrial and office site clearance service.
- High security logistics - Our fleet includes secure transportation options and we operate a policy of ensuring vehicles are fully accompanied for the duration of the journey from your site to our regional recycling centres. All vehicles are GPS tracked and where necessary we can operate a “no-stopping” policy. The drivers of our vehicles are all security cleared with full background checks completed to SC levels. This enable us to work in highly secure government sites.
- Robust packaging – each item of recovered technology equipment is carefully packaged and transported to preserve its recovered state.
- Onsite services – we now offer onsite data wiping and destruction services, providing an even greater level of security for your data.
- Secure storage – should you prefer to minimise carbon emissions by reducing transportation, we can provide secure onsite storage solutions enabling you to store end of life IT equipment for collection in batches.
- Legal compliance – Sims Recycling Solutions holds all appropriate hazardous waste transfer licences to comply with legal requirements for transfer of batteries, CRTs and other waste deemed to be hazardous under the European WEEE Directive.
