Sims' ICT Asset Recovery Services proposition can provide you with brand, business unit, site specific and even individual user reporting in a format to suit your reporting infrastructure such as XML or Sequel feeds. All data captured is viewable online and is exportable.

The MAC address, Hard Drive Serial Number(s) or other data can be used by you as a unique asset identifier which cannot be changed by user error. WebView assigns each asset with a unique identifier as well.

WebView captures the hardware profile enabling accurate retirement of assets from your asset registers.

In addition it captures the software profile immediately before the hard drive is securely erased, using Blancco® Data Cleaner. This provides you with invaluable data necessary for recording the destruction of software, a requirement for software asset register compliance. It also means that we can mirror pre-deletion software profiles for equipment that is scheduled for re-use internally.

Constantly developed and improved using the latest available object orientated architecture from Microsoft, WebView links to Sims Recycling Solutions’ highly developed and flexible e-commerce system. This enables us to allocate stock to retail sales through WebView.

That means you can gain reports on sales, processing and repair costs, the split of channel distribution between redeployment, remarketing, donations and recycling and associated financial returns.

WebView reporting includes an environmental element, providing tangible environmental measurements, such as re-use and recycling rates. You also get an insight into the carbon savings made by your disposition programme.

For products that have been recycled, we provide detailed assay reports advising of the commodities recovered and recycled such as precious metals and non ferrous metals, along with certificates of destruction.
