Over 20 licensed e-waste centres in the UK

In the UK, Sims has over 20 e-waste collection centres that channel Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) into the seven Sims Recycling Solutions IT asset recovery and WEEE recycling centres. All are Sims Metal Management metal recycling centres in England and Wales. In 2010, two Sims Recycling Solutions WEEE sortation facilities in Harlow and Widnes were added, which divide white and brown goods into either reuse and resale or recycling lines.
