The cathode ray tubes (CRTs) found in many televisions and computer monitors contain hazardous, difficult to recover waste that needs specialist handling. Sims Recycling Solutions has recently developed a recycling centre in Ellesmere Port to provide cost effective, environmentally responsible recovery of CRTs and recycling of metals and glass.
Sims Recycling Solutions made a major investment in plant and machinery during 2009 to achieve a cost effective and environmentally responsible recycling process. The CRT recycling process works in a similar fashion to the interactive animation featured further down this page.
