Sims Recycling Solutions is an active participant in recycling industry forums helping to shape new recycling developments and input to key process improvements.

The Industry Council for Electronic Equipment Recycling (ICER) is a cross-industry association focusing on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). ICER members include equipment producers, retailers, waste management companies, WEEE treatment facilities (recyclers) and producer compliance schemes.

The European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA) is a non-profit organisation that promotes the interest of recycling companies who are treating waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Europe.

The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) is an international trade federation representing the world’s recycling industry, covering in particular ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper and textiles. Around 800 companies and national federations from over 70 countries are affiliated to BIR.

The Electronics Resellers Association International (ERAI) is a privately held global information services organisation that monitors, investigates and reports issues that are affecting the global supply chain of electronics. ERAI is comprised of Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Distributors (franchised and independent), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), government agencies and associations serving the industry.
